Double Happiness Soy Candles

Another gorgeous range of candles have arrived in-store at Aloha Lucy. These little vintage tea cups and jugs are filled with a natural soy wax and are hand poured in Australia! The scents are to die for. You can choose between French Pear, Orange Blossom, Baby Powder, Evening in Paris or the most divine Vanilla. Furthermore, you don't need to worry about burning your candle. Just bring it back in-store and we can arrange for them to be refilled with your choice of scent for a minimal cost.

How cute are these little lip balms? We always have a giggle in-store when customers go through them and can't help but laugh out loud. There is also greeting cards that are just as funny. It's always great to have a laugh and these cards and lip balms are a great way to make your friends or family do just that!!

PAPAYA! 2012 Weekly Planners

Once again PAPAYA! have released their weekly planners, and they haven't disappointed us with the designs. I love the little file at the front where you can file your secrets away! And when the year is over, the pictures inside can be framed as a keepsake.

I came across the cutest candle range the other day called Lemon Canary. It is great to see a local Gold Coast company that's committed to producing unique beautiful eco friendly candles. They also have a blog called Little Pleasures which is full of great pictures and tips. Definetly worth a look.

Some of my friends are so hard to buy presents for, so I always give them an Ecoya Candle. And they love them. Sick of winter already??

I can't believe it is only the end of June!! Another 2 long months of winter left. Thank goodness our summer stock starts arriving in-store towards the end of July. It will be great to see lots and lots of gorgeous colour again. And by all accounts it is going to be a great season. Beautiful one shoulder dresses, with a chiffon overlay....dreaming already. By the end of the winter season we are all soooo sick of grey and black and sick of wearing our tights. Here in Queensland we love our summer....bring it on!!!

Phillis Boho Kaftans

Sorry I haven't posted for the last couple of days - we have been moving house. Gosh what a job. It is a bit like childbirth - lucky you forget how bad it is from the last time otherwise you would never go back!!!! The weather is not so great again today, so I thought I would post these gorgeous pics form Mimosa's new kaftan range called Phillis Boho to remind us that the sun does shine!! The fabric is silk and as you can see the prints are perfect for summer. They also come with a slip so can be worn as a dress as well as over swimmers. Just a beautiful range. I was lucky enough to be invited to a VIP night for Valentino Retrospective: Past/Present/Future. An amazing 100 haute couture looks are on display, ranging from Valentino's very first collection in 1959 to the 09-10 collection. Take it from me - this amazing celebration of Valentino's timeless designs is not to be missed.
